I have a Dell Inspiron 5420 Laptop. I was struggling to install Wired Network drivers. The article above helped me in installing them. (A) Intel 965 Mobile (GMA X3100): there is a problem with compiz support, this card is blacklisted and have problems when is used gnome with desktop effects activated (X freezes). (6) If you have a dell wireless card (Broadcom chip) see Ndiswrapper. (14) Card Reader only works with SD and SDHC cards, MMC cards are not supported. (*) Integrated webcam works (video4linux2).
